Our community leaders help move initiatives forward by engaging their neighbors. Your gift ensures that an active community leader in the Esperanza Neighborhood Project receives a sweatshirt, t-shirt and tote bag to promote neighborhood pride and dignity. $50

Mental Health First Aid Training
Sponsor a community member to receive first-hand training to identify and combat the effects of some of the most prevalent mental health challenges in our city. $50

Young people have lots of challenges to overcome, including building their own self-esteem to make them resilient. Your gift can sponsor a guest speaker to share their personal story, as well as needed information on various topics such as bullying, suicide prevention, and teen dating violence. $75

First Time Homeowners
NBT helps first-time homebuyers, with a special focus on low and moderate-income and immigrant households for whom homeownership had never been an option. Your support allows two families to attend a first-time homeowners seminar to learn about the support and resources available to assist with this journey. $75

Healthy Homes Maintenance Kit
A healthy home is one maintained in a way that supports the health of the tenants. Your gift will help participating families receive education on a broad range of healthy homes issues including a maintenance kit for managing allergens, mold, and safety. $75

Promote healthy, active living by sponsoring an activity at one of our local open-streets events. Your contribution will support a community organization’s ability to bring an active and engaging activity while also raising awareness around their support services. $100

The Mercado Esperanza is a flexible community marketplace celebrating the food, arts and culture of New Brunswick and its diverse Latino community. We prioritize the participation of local micro-entrepreneurs working to hone their skills and supplement primary incomes. Your gift allows one resident to receive entrepreneurship training to build their business. $250

Health initiatives are most effective when the community is committed and engaged. Support community interventions designed to raise awareness and combat some of the city’s toughest health challenges (e.g., diabetes, depression, etc.) through peer-to-peer education. Sponsor a family through NBT’s Family Leadership Academy; a rigorous year-long program designed to help families achieve economic and social stability. Your contribution doubles a family’s savings as they strive for future goals, such as purchasing their first home.
HEALTH
Move Well. Eat Well. Live Well New Brunswick!
Help residents live healthier lifestyles by supporting the creation of an interactive Live Well video education series, including “how to’s” for engaging in fun exercise routines that they can do at home and practical tips or creating healthier every-day meals. Sponsor a Move Well, Eat Well video!
