|Captain Michael Bobadilla
Mr. Bobadilla is a Captain in the New Brunswick Police Department. He is currently the Watch Commander in the Patrol Division and volunteers his time to coordinate a summer soccer academy for New Brunswick youth. Captain Bobadilla has served on the NBT Board of Directors since 2005 and is the Co-Chair of the Family Task Force. Captain Bobadilla is also an alumnus of NBT’s Leadership Tomorrow and Leadership Now.
|Christopher M. Cimarusti, Ph.D.
Dr. Cimarusti is a retired executive from Bristol-Myers Squibb who is currently an independent consultant to the pharmaceutical industry. He has been a board member of NBT since 1998 and is a former Chair (2005). Dr. Cimarusti is also a member of the organization’s Finance, Governance, and Nominating Committees.
Sharon is the former Global President for the consumer division of a Fortune 50 company. She later led their corporate citizenship and strategic philanthropy initiatives. Sharon served on the board of The World Health Organization’s Partnership for Maternal, Newborn & Child Health and was Vice-Chair of the U.N.-affiliated MDG Health Alliance. In 2014 she was named the National Association of Female Executives Global Women’s Champion and in 2015, was one of the Women’s eNews 21 Leaders for the 21st Century. She recently launched SayItForward.org to help women & girls share stories of personal empowerment and reach their potential.
|Roger W. Daley
Mr. Daley is a retired Judge of the Superior Court at the Middlesex County Family Courthouse who presided over juvenile cases. He serves as the Chair of the Middlesex County’s Children’s Services Commission. He has been on the NBT Board of Directors since 2004 and serves as NBT’s Chair of the 0-21 Task Force.
|C. Roy Epps
Mr. Epps is the President of the Greater New Brunswick Civic League. Mr. Epps is a founding board member of NBT and currently serves as Chair of the Evaluation/Assessment Task Force, which is responsible for assuring quality outcome measures for all of the organization’s projects. With a long record of community involvement and advocacy, Mr. Epps has been on the boards of the New Brunswick Board of Education, the New Brunswick Development Corporation and the Eric B. Chandler Health Center.
|Carla Haynes Siglam
Ms. Haynes Siglam is a New Brunswick resident and a graduate of the city’s public schools. She has served as Chair of the board of trustees at the Greater New Brunswick Charter School and on the Health Center Advisory Board of the Eric B. Chandler Health Center. She joined NBT’s Board of Directors in 2010. She is an alumna of Leadership Tomorrow and Leadership Now, NBT’s leadership development programs. She provides nursing services, stress management and massage for the geriatric and hospice population.
Mr. Jimenez is the Vice President for Governmental Affairs at Saint Peter’s Health Care System where he is responsible for representing the system with all government regulating agencies and the monitoring state and federal legislation. At the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services, Mr. Jimenez served as Chief of Staff to the Commissioner and as Director of Legislative Services. His community-based activities include serving on the Diocese of Metuchen Catholic School Commission and as Board of Trustee President of the Emily Fisher Charter School. Appointed to the board on 2009, he is the Co-Chair of NBT’s Health Task Force.
|Michael E. Knecht, FACHE
Mr. Knecht is the Vice President of Communications and Community Relations at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) where he is responsible for directing the marketing, public relations and community health outreach functions for this nationally distinguished academic medical center. Mr. Knecht has over twenty-five years of experience in healthcare strategy, marketing and communications. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. In addition to his involvement with New Brunswick Tomorrow Board, Mr. Knecht is currently a member of the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Branch and New Brunswick; chair of the United Way of Monmouth County’s Health Committee; and serves as the national Communications Representative for the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Group on Institutional Advancement.
Mr. Landis is a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Boston Properties. Besides his commitment to New Brunswick Tomorrow, Mr. Landis serves on several local boards, including Prevent Child Abuse-NJ and Elijah’s Promise. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors since 2005, Mr. Landis is also an active member of NBT’s Governance Committee.
|Joann La Perla-Morales, Ed.D
Dr. La Perla Morales is the President of Middlesex County College, responsible for leading and institution of 13,000 credit and 10,000 non-credit students, with a main suburban campus and two urban centers. She serves on other board, including United Way of Central Jersey, Raritan Bay Medical Center, and Making it Possible to End Homelessness. She has serves on the NBT Board since 2005.
|Roberto Muñiz, MPA, LNHA, FACHCA
Mr. Muñiz serves as the President and CEO of the Francis E. Parker Memorial Home. Mr. Muñiz possesses over 25 years of experience in long-term care management and as a provider of senior care services. He serves as the President of the Board of the NJ Foundation for Aging. He was appointed to the NBT Board of Directors in 2010.
Mr. Roman is the Owner of Gaby’s Bakery, Deli and Grocery. He is a businessman with several enterprises in New Brunswick and is a leader within the Mexican American community. He was the Chairman of the Mexican American Organization, a grassroots organization based in New Brunswick. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in 2005.
Ms. Valentine is a Consultant with the Valentine Group. Ms. Valentine is a lifelong advocate for young children. She has been the Chair of the New Brunswick Child Care Consortium, past Chair of the NBT Infant/Child Task Force and the Co-Chair of the 0-21 Task Force. Ms. Valentine has been on the NBT Board since 2005.
Mr. Walsh is a Director of Business & Commercial Litigation at Gibbons Law, Newark, NJ.
As an officer of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Federal Practice and Procedure Section and an author of a chapter in New Jersey Federal Civil Procedure, Mr. Walsh is well versed in the nuances of litigating in federal courts. He has also published numerous pieces on restrictive covenants and the protection of trade secrets and confidential information, including a chapter on restrictive covenant litigation for Employment Litigation in New Jersey.
Mr. Walsh is active in his community and currently is the Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Ronald McDonald House of Long Branch and New Brunswick.
|Joan Alster Weisblatt, Esq
Ms. Weisblatt is attorney who retired from her practice at Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas in New Brunswick after almost 30 years. She specialized in Environmental Law. Ms. Weisblatt founded the New Brunswick Outreach Tutoring Program for elementary school children in New Brunswick, teaches ESL, and is a standup comedian. Ms. Weisblatt has served on the NBT Board of Directors since 2005 and is a member of the Governance Committee.
