U.S. Soccer Foundation Awards NBT with Grant
POSTED December 22, 2015
The United States Soccer Foundation awarded New Brunswick Tomorrow with one of only 24 grants to non-profit organizations who help children in underserved communities.
“The U.S. Soccer Foundation is thrilled for the grant recipients,” said Ed Foster-Simeon, President & CEO of the U.S. Soccer Foundation. “Through sports-based youth development, these organizations give children much more than soccer. They provide a structured environment that instills self-discipline, builds self-confidence, encourages a healthy and active lifestyle and fosters quality relationships. We believe these organizations will ultimately create sustainable change in communities across the nation.”
The grant will enable NBT to enhance the programs of its Bobadilla Summer Soccer Academy. New Brunswick Tomorrow is a proud supporter of this program along with our partners from the Rutgers Community Health Foundation and the N.J. Department of Children and Families.
