NBT To Announce New Branding and Strategic Plans

New Brunswick, NJ – On Tuesday, December 13, 2011, at The Heldrich at 5:00pm, New Brunswick Tomorrow (NBT) will host a reception to launch its new logo, website, tagline, and videos featuring three success stories developed by 3rd Edge Communications. The celebration is also about the launch of programmatic efforts that the organization anticipates will improve the quality of life of New Brunswick residents.
This past year, NBT commissioned a survey from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy to better understand the health and human service needs of city residents. In response, strategies and actionable plans have been developed in collaboration with over 100 stakeholder partners from the community. NBT’s President, Jeffrey Vega, said, “though challenging, developing consensus among a broad and diverse spectrum of partners was accomplished, and NBT aims to begin implementation of its strategic plans in January 2012.” The plan includes new strategies around youth, family and health programming that will benefit low-come city residents.
NBT is the non-profit organization responsible for the City of New Brunswick’s social revitalization. Since 1975, the organization has addressed the city’s quality of life issues, focusing on developing public/private partnerships that respond to the health, human service and education needs of residents. NBT’s Board Chair, Dr. Christopher M. Cimarusti stated that NBT’s work would not be possible without the unwavering support from partners like Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Wells Fargo and the NJ Department of Children and Families.
