Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will support New Brunswick Tomorrow’s programs. New Brunswick Tomorrow is the non-profit organization whose ideas, partnerships and initiatives are moving New Brunswick’s people forward. Established in 1975, NBT has developed many successful public/private partnerships that have benefited New Brunswick’s youth and families, primarily in the areas of human services, health and education.

NBT’s President, Jeffrey Vega, stated, “The fundraiser will be a fun way to raise funds and create awareness of the organization’s initiatives.”  Three comedians have volunteered their performances. Headlining the event will be Vinnie Brand, owner of The Stress Factory, with Melvin George performing as the feature comedian. The third comedian, Joan Weisblatt, is also a board member at New Brunswick Tomorrow. After a successful career as an attorney at the firm of Hoagland, Longo, Moran, Dunst & Doukas, LLP, Ms. Weisblatt has launched her second career as a comedian, performing throughout the greater Metropolitan area. NBT’s Board Chair, Dr. Christopher M. Cimarusti, stated, “We are thrilled that Joan will be performing for a great cause and we appreciate her generosity and that of the other comedians.”

Mr. Vega also stated, “NBT is deeply grateful to all sponsors of the event, especially our lead, Wells Fargo, along with Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, Boraie Development, and The Francis E. Parker Memorial Home. Their generous sponsorship will help support programs that help vulnerable families in New Brunswick.”
